- The C3B is a
membership lead consortium comprising industrial, federal agency, state
agency and university partners whose collective interest is in the
development and application of scientifically derived knowledge to
economic development or national security.
Established
firmly on the principle of mutually beneficial collaborations, the C3B
brings together
to solve
pre-proprietary problems within the Center's Core
Research
program. In addition, members may enter into separately negotiated and
focused Sponsored Research projects with project teams of the
C3B. Members become active on Project Guidance Teams that meet
twice annually and provide active, collaborative research participation
on Center projects. Members also serve on the External Advisory
Board that provides an annual Center and Program Review and
meet annually with the University Oversight Committee. Members
receive Semi-annual Project Reports, an Annual Program
Report and participate freely and fully in the Center's Annual Symposium.
In addition, members may also participate in the Center's Visiting Scientist Program.
