Dean's Council of Students (top)

The Dean’s Council of Students (DCOS) is an advisory body representing students in the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities. The DCOS meets monthly in the fall and spring semesters with the dean and associate deans—sharing ideas and concerns about student life and scholarship in AAH. Undergraduate representatives from each department are selected by their respective department chairs. In departments that have graduate programs, the chair also selects a graduate representative. Student representatives from interdisciplinary degree programs are chosen by the program director. The DCOS is coordinated by Shelby Duncan, administrative assistant to the associate dean for academic affairs (dshelby@clemson.edu).

Of the seven members, no fewer than three shall come from the School of the Humanities, two from the School of Design and Building, and one from the School of the Arts. The seventh member is elected at large. No more than one member shall serve simultaneously from any academic unit in the College.
