Darren Linvill is a lecturer and Director of the Basic Courses in the Department of Communication Studies. Darren recently earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Clemson and is continuing research into student perceptions of political bias in the classroom.  Darren obtained both his undergraduate degree and master's degree at Wake Forest University (Go Deacs!). While there he met his wonderful and talented wife, Claiborne, who is currently the marketing director for the South Carolina Botanical Gardens, right here at Clemson University. They live happily together with their dog, Jiggs.
