Ms. Parsons' undergraduate teaching includes: Architecture Communication, Communication Theory, Interpersonal Communication, Organizational Communication, Nonverbal Communication, and Argumentation and Debate. Each semester, she directs the Tiger Speakout.

She has presented conference papers in the area of Basic Course Assessment, Undergraduate Student Advising, Forensics Pedagogy and Administration.

Ms. Parsons has served as Calhoun Honors College Faculty, Advisor for the Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Honor Society, Director of Debate, Reviewer for the National Forensic Journal, Reviewer for the Carolinas Communication Annual, and Reviewer for the NCA Argumentation and Forensics Division. Currently, she serves on the National Faculty Advisory Board for Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Honor Society.
