Communication and Sport Conference
The Department of Communication Studies at Clemson University is hosting the Third Summit on Communication and Sport from February 28 to March 1st at The Madren Center at Clemson University. Dr. Andrew Billings is serving as the conference coordinator. Building on the first two Summits on Communication and Sport held at Arizona State University-West, this summit will bring together scholars who study sport through a communicative lens, examining the ways in which communication shapes academic and societal understandings and experiences of sport. Additionally, the summit will provide an opportunity for scholars conducting research on communication and sport to come together to share their scholarship and ideas, providing an opportunity for participants to further refine future directions and possibilities for the study of sport and communication.
