Dept. of Construction Science & Management
Undergraduate Program
The Clemson Undergraduate Course Catalog in effect at the time at the time of the change is considered the current catalog on the date of final approval on the University's "Change of Major" card.

Until a student officially changes his/her major, the student must continue to work with two advisers. The current curriculum adviser must be kept abreast of change-of-major intentions and given the student’s preregistration materials. The student should also be advised by the appropriate person in the CSM department.

Students who wish to change their major to construction science and management must meet two requirements:

  1. Have at least 30 semester credit hours with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7.

  2. Have successfully completed English 103, Physics 207/209 and the mathematics requirement 106 or 102.

Procedure

  • Once a student has attained the above requirements, he/she should complete the department Change of Major Request form in the CSM office in 125 Lee Hall.
  • The CSM Department Faculty Admissions Committee will consider all the requests in late May or early June and select the top students by cumulative grade point average.
  • Students who do not meet the above minimum requirements at the end of the respective spring semester will not be considered.
  • Change of Majors are only accepted once a year following the end of spring semester.
