Undergraduate Program
Change of major requests are considered only once a year – in late May or early June.
Students wishing to be considered to change their major into Construction Science and Management (CSM) must:
- Have at least 30 semester credit hours with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7. At least 24 semester hours must have been taken at Clemson University. Students will be selected based on their cumulative grade point average and the number of spaces available.
- Have successfully completed English 103; Physics 207/209; and the mathematics requirement (106 or 102) by the end of the spring semester of the year requesting change of major into the department.
- Sign the Change of Major Request Form
Procedure
The student should place their name on the department change of major request list in the CSM department office – 120 Lee Hall.The department will consider all the requests in late May or early June and select the top students based on space availability. Students not meeting the above stated minimum requirements at the end of the respective spring semester will not be considered.
