Thomas Schurch, Professor of Landscape Architecture, has been appointed as Co-Director of the American Society of Landscape Architects Urban Design Professional Practice Network. This follows an invited professorship in urban design he completed with the Kazakh National Technical & Research University in Almaty, Kazakhstan and his receiving the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture’s annual award for Service Learning, Senior category.

Robert Hewitt, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture received a 2018 Excellence in Teaching Award, Senior Category, from the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA).

Zhaowei Si (MLA) and Allison Chan (BLA) were named the 2018 Olmsted Scholars by the Landscape Architecture Program at the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities Honors and Awards ceremony on April 6th.
