College welcomes five new academic chairs

John GaberCity Planning and Real Estate Development welcomes our new department chair, Dr. John Gaber! John Gaber joined the Clemson faculty this summer as professor and chair of the Department of City Planning and Real Estate Development. Gaber previously served as chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Arkansas. He has a B.A. from UCLA, a master’s degree from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. from Columbia University. Gaber has published extensively on a wide range of planning-related topics and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
