Career Guidance - Entering the Industry with Confidence

Throughout the program, we assist you to be prepared for seeking summer internships and permanent employment upon graduation. We have formal sessions with Faculty, Advancement Board Members, Alumni and HR Personnel focusing on:

  • Resume Preparation
  • Job Search Strategies
  • Interviewing Techniques
  • Salary-compensation Negotiations/Job Acceptance
  • Business Protocol and Professional Relations Advice

Clemson also has a self-interview stream practice system for students to rehearse an array of questions, and then study their own performance. We assist in preparing for different styles of interviewing (in-person, phone, and Skype/webinar), learning about the different categories of questions employers ask, and making a good impression from start to finish.

Clemson’s Michelin® Career Center offers programs and services to help all Clemson students identify, strategize and achieve their career aspirations. In addition, the Career Center works with the Graduate School and Graduate Student Government to sponsor workshops.

Faculty, Alumni, Board Members and friends enjoy providing feedback and advice to students in a mentoring capacity.
