Stephanie Ocampo
Stephanie Ocampo, International Trade Coordinator at AFL Telecommunications

I’m originally from Uruguay and moved to the United States nineteen years ago. I graduated from Clemson in 2015 with a Bachelor’s in International Trade – Spanish and a minor in Business Administration. While attending Clemson I had the opportunity to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a semester which was a remarkable experience. Upon graduation, I started working as a Customer Service Representative at AFL Telecommunications. During that role I learned a lot about the products AFL offers as well as how important customers are for us. I had the opportunity to work with very successful people who inspired me to be persistent and work towards my goals. After three years I moved to the International Trade Department and I’ve been working as an International Trade Coordinator for two years. I’m responsible for the import compliance side providing certificates for the different free trade agreements, as well as making sure the material we are importing has all the information required by customs.
