Late Medieval English/French literary relations, Hollywood film, film genres

R. Barton Palmer has been a college professor and administrator for forty-five years, twenty-three of which were spent at Clemson, where he was the Calhoun Lemon Professor of Literature, Chairof the English department, and director of the World Cinema program. Palmer holds Ph.D.’s from both Yale and New York University, and he is the author or editor of more than fifty academic books, and serves as the editor in chief of both THE SOUTH ATLANTIC REVIEW and THE TENNESSEE WILLIAMS ANNUAL REVIEW.
