Alyssa Davis joined the Department of Communication Studies as a Lecturer in 2012. She received her M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Communication Studies. She received her B.A. from the University of Mary Washington in English Literature and Classical Civilization. Her areas of study are Computer Mediated Communication and Communication Centers. In this area, she has a published chapter in Communication Centers and Oral Communication Programs in Higher Education. She has taught COMM 150 labs, COMM 250, and COMM 201.
