Kayla Steele (M.A., University of Delaware) joined Clemson's Department of Communication Studies this year. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Tennessee. Her research interests lie in the field of Political Communication. More specifically, Kayla is interested in the interaction of political humor and fear appeals in the minds of television viewers. She currently teaches Public Speaking to the students at Clemson. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys hiking, traveling, and keeping up with University of Tennessee sports.
