Cecilea Mun holds an M.A. in Ethics and Policy Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and an M.A. in Philosophy from Arizona State University. She is a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University, focusing on the question of what an adequate theory of emotion entails from an interdisciplinary perspective. She is also concerned with theories of specific discrete emotions, such as shame, and their application in practical life and public policy. Her other interests are in philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, moral psychology, and feminist studies.
