Worked in the insurance industry as a Loss Control Representative for 14 years before founding his own company, Carolina Safety Consultants. With nearly 30 years of safety and health experience, David has developed a very successful process to assist companies in their safety efforts. His company’s clients include BMW, Boeing, Walbridge, Fluor, RFW, Holder, and DPR. David also has served as a safety consultant in manufacturing and industrial plants.
Teaches the undergraduate construction safety course, an in-depth class covering the ethical, moral, legal and financial reasons why contractors should embrace and develop a strong safety culture within their organizations. He also provides the OSHA 1926 Construction Standards course.
Construction Company and Project Safety
Serves as an alternate faculty advisor for the Associated Builders and Contractors student chapter and is a past member of the Upstate Council and Safety Committee Chair. David is currently a member of ABC’s Workforce Development and Safety Committee.
