Criss Mills scholarly work focuses on theoretical / speculative approaches to design conception carrying the inquiry through several scales, with a goal of connecting to building experiences to test behavior in the crucible of cultural and physical dynamics. His background is in architectural theory combined with building experience and practice. He recently completed his manuscript for the 3rd edition of "Designing with Models," and a design build project his graduate studio.
In Fall 2011, the School of Architecture faculty designed posters to represent their research, designs, accomplishments and interests, for use in the NAAB accreditation process.
