Dr. Ingle received her M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of South Florida. She specializes in ancient Greek philosophy and aesthetics. Her research interests include the role of intellectual virtue in Plato’s dialogues, the intersection of ethics and aesthetics, particularly with respect to the influence of the history of aesthetics on environmental ethics and policy-making practices, and the philosophy of food. She recently co-authored the article "The End of Feminist Aesthetics?" with Dr. Joanne Waugh, which will be published in the collection Feminist Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art: The Power of Critical Visions and Creative Engagement, ed.
