EXIGE at Clemson University
EXIGE is the Examen Internacional de Negocios en Español created by
SDSU/CIBER and financed by the U.S. Department of Education. Its sponsors are
San Diego State University's Center for International Business Education and
Research (CIBER) and San Diego World Trade Center (SD WTC). EXIGE focuses on
business and economics of Latin America and Spain. It measures test-takers'
reading, writing, listening and speaking skills based on principles, practices
and language utilized to do business in Latin America as well as in Spain.
EXIGE
is designed for:
- Students.
EXIGE is designed for students who wish to demonstrate their ability
to function in international business in Latin America and Spain.
- Teaching
Centers. Any teaching center may use EXIGE
to demonstrate the caliber of its programs in language, culture
and/or international business in the Spanish language.
- Companies can
ask their employees to take EXIGE to be assured that their company
is in good hands when doing business in Latin America or Spain.
- Professionals.
On being tested by EXIGE, Professionals will demonstrate to their
employers that they are able to do business in Latin America or
Spain.
Undergraduate
students pursuing degrees in Spanish, Business/International Business,
International Relations, Hispanic/Latin American Studies, and Economics
have taken the exam as well as students in MBA and International
MBA programs.
