Registration Form

1. The Pre-registration deadline(including registration fees) is October 1, 2008. Please (1) submit electronically the completed pre-registration form, and (2) mail applicable fees prior to this date to ensure that your students are officially registered for the contest.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FORM PROVIDED BELOW HAS BEEN REDESIGNED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, SO THAT YOU CAN SUBMIT MULTIPLE PARTICIPANTS ELECTRONICALLY IN ONE EMAIL. THE NEW FORM WILL BE AVAILABLE IN EARLY SEPTEMBER. ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT PAPER FORMS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED AND WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

2. To expedite processing entries, we ask that pre-registration forms be completely filled out, including language background for Class B and Native students. Incomplete forms will be returned to the teacher. This could cause difficulties in resubmitting the forms by the deadline and might result in the contestants being closed out of the contest.

3. Registration fees (checks only) must be received not later than October 1, 2008, in order for your students to be officially registered. WE REGRET THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO REFUND ENTRY FEES; however, substitutes in the same class will be accepted up to the day of the contest in case of an emergency. Teachers should collect the $10.00 fee from each student pre-registered. They should send one check for the TOTAL COST of all registrants. Please make checks payable to the Clemson Spanish Club Declamation Contest, and mail to Helen Newton, Director; Declamation 2008; Department of Languages; Clemson University, Clemson, SC 29634-0535.

4. Contestants must report to the registration desk between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. in Daniel Hall on the morning of the contest to receive their contest and waiting room assignments. Students need to be in their waiting rooms no later than 9:50 a.m.
