Kelly Davidson holds an M.A. in French literature from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in French and Educational Studies from Emory University, with an emphasis on foreign language pedagogy. She is currently teaching French at Clemson and is also the Language Laboratory Director. Her research interests include topics in the area of technology and foreign language pedagogy, such as the use of television and video in beginning foreign language curricula and the implementation of student blogging to integrate current events, cultural learning, and language instruction. In addition to coordinating first year French courses at Clemson, Dr. Davidson also directs the Clemson University French Immersion: Belgium study abroad program, which gives students the opportunity to study at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium for a semester each spring.
