A biweekly German podcast program that provides information important to the German Section at Clemson Univeristy (available through iTunes U):
- Literature, music, culture, and art;
- course offerings and reports from special events;
- information on students and teachers of German;
- Germans and the German community in the Upstate;
- political and business news from German-speaking countries;
- German Club at Clemson University;
- and more ...
Most content will be in German, with a few exceptions.
In order to listen and to subscribe to German Cast you will need to have iTunes installed. iTunes is frre and can be downloaded for Windows PCs and Macs.
To access:

log in with Clemson ID <http://www.clemson.edu/itunesu/clemson/ITunesU.pl>, and select "German Cast".
Currently, access to German Cast is restricted to members of the Clemson University community (Clemson University ID required). German Cast is in an experimental stage, please send comments, concerns and questions to Johannes Schmidt (schmidj@clemson.edu; 656-4299). There will be a creative inquiry group starting in Spring 2008 to establish and continue this initiative. This will be open to all students with some knowlegde in German (all levels), see Creative Inquiry for more information.
