Assistant Professor of German

The successful candidate will teach courses in 20th-century literature and film as well as language at all levels and will be expected to participate in interdisciplinary programs at both the college and university level. Assistant Profesor of Italian
ITALIAN, Assistant Professor, full time, tenure track (8/15/08)
Ph.D. (or ABD with promise of completion by August 2008) in Modern Italian Literature and Italian Film. Preference given to candidates with specialty in one or more of the following areas: subaltern/colonial studies, ethnic or national identity, popular culture, business language.   Native or near-native fluency in Italian and English required. Teaching experience of minimum four years at undergraduate level expected.
