Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition with prints by Marty Epp-Carter and ceramic sculpture by Sam Davis
Epp-Carter and Davis both use various media to broach contemporary questions about the denotation and value of memory, experience and identity. Epp-Carter seeks to recontextualize the intersection of contemporary consumerism and the natural environment. Davis aims to create identity through appropriation, drawing on the object’s capacity to re-present experience.
