Taylor Stukes

Taylor is a first-year MAPC student from Manning, South Carolina. She graduated from Columbia College (SC) in May 2013 with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

As an undergraduate student, Taylor worked in the Pearce Communication Lab as a public speaking tutor. She served as President of Lambda Pi Eta and Selections Chair of Omicron Delta Kappa. In her senior year, she was selected by her peers as the Savory Award recipient, an honor recognizing a senior who best exemplifies the values of Columbia College.

In the fall of 2012, Taylor lived in Washington, D.C. and interned at the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington. Her experience there solidified her interest in health communication and visual communication, making the decision to attend Clemson University as an MAPC student very easy.

Taylor is a football fan and roots for the Clemson Tigers and the Houston Texans. She loves the coast, old-school video games, adventures, and her roommate’s Chihuahua.
