The Multimedia Authoring Teaching and Research Facility (MATRF) at Clemson University is a professional-level web, multimedia, and print design facility dedicated to promoting the use of multimodal instructional technologies. MATRF supports the College of Architecture, Arts, and Humanities (CAAH) graduate programs by involving faculty and graduate students in professional design and multimodal communication projects.
MATRF staff, graduate students in Clemson's Master of Professional Communication (MAPC) program, create state-of-the-art multimedia digital publications for clients both within and outside the Clemson University community.
Through academic/industry partnerships and contracts, including client-based projects, multimedia instruction, research projects, professional development programs, and multimedia resources, MATRF serves the University community as well as businesses and industries around the State of South Carolina.
