As a Masters of Professional Communication (MAPC) candidate and graduate assistant in the MATRF, Janet Miller looks forward to applying her skills and experience in digital publishing and web development to fulfill client objectives. She is also eager to explore and utilize the multitude of innovative technologies available in Clemson's multimedia lab to enhance her overall learning experience. Janet's current MATRF clients include the Department of SC Life (2009 Science and Technology program catalog using InDesign CS3) and the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture (Web site). She is also managing the MATRF Web site.
Janet has a BA in Journalism/PR and a minor in Art from Northern Illinois University as well as a certificate in Not-for-Profit, Voluntary Sector and Arts Management from York University, Toronto. She is also proud of her dual USA/Canada citizenship.
After spending 20 years as a communications professional in the not-for-profit sector, Janet is looking forward to entering a new career phase, teaching professional writing.
