Recent internship experience with APD Urban Planning and Management in Atlanta, GA. Created apartment and residential pro formas,  including land, soft and hard costs, construction price research and budgeting, subcontractor management and negotiations, and entitlement compliance due diligence. Familiar with zoning regulation due diligence and performed pre-development acquisition research for the Fulton-Atlanta Land Bank Authority, and assisted in creating the strategic implementation plan for Invest Atlanta’s Development Authority.  Additional duties included research of local and state funding programs, canvasing value-add communities to identify infill and redevelopment opportunities, and performing community inventory of existing conditions. Created strategic apartment redevelopment reports advising Invest Atlanta on addressing blight in neighboring downtown communities including comparable charts, multiple budgets, results and recommendations, and personal interview accounts. Successful student-athlete career while at Furman setting 200 & 400 meter records, received a Southern Conference Outstanding Athlete Award, and was recognized for holding honor roll status as an athlete.  Former ten-year teaching career serving Atlanta’s metro counties as language arts department chair, grade level chairperson, and multiple Teacher of the Year finalist. Desire development associate role focusing on community development, retail development, or commercial investment.
