To apply to the Master of Landscape Architecture program at Clemson, please visit the Office of Graduate Admissions.

Application deadline: February 15

Application components to complete and submit to the Office of Graduate Admissions are as follows:

1- Graduate Admissions online application
2- Application fee
3- Official Transcripts
4- Three letters of recommendation with at least one from a current or former professor
5- Test Scores: GRE and TOEFL*

 *international applicants only

Application components to complete and submit to the Master of Landscape Architecture program directly are as follows:

1- A resume minimally containing a brief description of academic background and any relevant work experience
2- A statement of purpose and personal narrative. Please include your interest in pursuing a graduate degree in landscape architecture, your preparation and aptitude for this field, your future career goals, and your interest in Clemson’s program. (no more than 1000 words)
3-Portfolio* (examples of creative work)
4- Applicants who wish to apply for funding should also complete the MLA Graduate Funding Application Form (click to download).

* Portfolio/creative work may include but are not limited to: samples of design or artistic pieces such as paintings, sculptures, drawings, free hand sketches, models, photography, garden design, general artistic compositions, etc.
