Graduate Program in Historic Preservation

Clemson University’s Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture and the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities are pleased to invitedoor applications for the Master of Science in Historic Preservation degree program offered jointly with the College of Charleston.

This two year, professional-track degree, is based in historic Charleston, South Carolina. While Charleston served as a preservation laboratory for many programs nationally, this is the first graduate program to be offered in the city. We are seeking a small and selective group of interdisciplinary graduate students interested in building national careers in historic preservation.

The Graduate Program works in close collaboration with a number of Charleston based initiatives including the sites and collections of the Charleston Museum, the Historic Charleston Foundation, the Preservation Society of Charleston, the American College of the Building Arts, and Drayton Hall, a National Trust site.

For more information about the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation, please contact the program director, Dan Nadenicek, dnadeni@clemson.edu . You may also apply directly on-line at www.Clemson.edu admissions.
