Clemson University’s Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture and the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities are pleased to invite applications for the Master of Science in Historic Preservation degree and the Certificate in Historic Preservation offered jointly with the College of Charleston.
The two year, professional-track degree and the certificate are based in historic Charleston, South Carolina. While Charleston serves as a preservation laboratory for many programs nationally, this is the first graduate program to be offered in the city. We are seeking a small and selective group of interdisciplinary graduate students interested in building national careers in historic preservation.
The Graduate Program works in close collaboration with a number of Charleston based initiatives including the sites and collections of the Charleston Museum, the Historic Charleston Foundation, the Preservation Society of Charleston, the American College of the Building Arts, and Drayton Hall, a National Trust site.
