The Clemson MRED student has a distinct advantage—every student accepted into the program receives membership to key industry organizations, included in the cost of tuition. We call this our “Feature Membership Advantage”. We firmly believe that students must be immersed in the industry as an integral part of their studies.

We are involved with the development industry through roundtables, tours and conferences.

The result is an MRED graduate who has had exposure to all aspects of the industry and has unlimited networking opportunities.

Attending the Fall Urban Land Institute Conference

• Meeting key players in the industry.
• Learning about cutting edge technology and ideas from speakers and exhibitors.
• Touring cutting edge projects
• Immersing yourself in an environment of success within the real estate development industry. The environment is energizing, the experience is invaluable.

The Clemson MRED program closely follows the principles of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), which believes that development is a public-private partnership and that quality development requires integrating the perspectives of community, environment and economics. So it is a vital part of our study to attend ULI’s Fall National Conference where students can be exposed to all of the benefits and learning the organization has to offer.

All 40 students in the MRED program attend the Fall ULI National Conference and other regional conferences to learn the breadth of the business and network with key industry leaders.

Tuition includes memberships, conferences, and various trips.

Students network with 6,000 development leaders for five days at Fall ULI conferences in Miami Beach, San Francisco, Washington DC, and New York City.

From our Students

Attending the Fall ULI Conference, the two-week SC Coastal development tour, extensive networking opportunities with professionals, and the internships with substantial responsibilities made this educational experience more than just a classroom endeavor—I have a great foundation for my career.
