The research of English professor Rhondda Thomas shed a light on Clemson's forgotten history, earning her the University's 2021 Senior Researcher of the Year Award.
The Call My Name project actively engages students in telling the stories of African American slaves, sharecroppers and convict laborers who built Clemson University into what it is today.
