The AAH Advising Center’s Major Mentor Program connects students who want to explore different majors with trained peer mentors to have specific questions about a major or minor answered. These meetings can take place in-person, over the phone, or via email. Examples of some questions are: What is it like to study in the major? What are some experiences (i.e. study abroad, internships) you’ve had in your major?
We are also hosting Major Mentor Nights on November 4th and 5th from 5-7pm in the
Hendrix Student Center where students can meet with a variety of Mentors at once!
Please RSVP here.
The AAH Advising Center is looking for upperclassmen to serve as Major Mentors for all majors at Clemson University. As a mentor you would meet with no more than one student at a time and talk about your experiences in your major. The time commitment is meant to be very minimal. There is a quick 30 minute training you will need to complete before meeting with a student. Also, you would be required to attend one Major Mentor Night on either November 4th or 5th from 5-7pm. This is a great resume builder and we hope you consider applying! Please contact email@example.com or 656-4484 to apply.
If you have any questions, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by our office, Strode Tower, Room 106.
