The above are charged on an hourly rate of $200/hour. Cost varies considerably according to test conditions and number of samples.
The equipment in the Analytical lab includes:
FTIR, barrier testing (OTR and WVTR only), thermal analysis (TMA, TGA, DMA, and DSC)
Other equipment:
Retort chamber ($1500/day; half day available)
Automatic filler for pouches (this is usually used in conjunction with the retort and included in fee)
Pouch making machine ($300/set up and $200/hourly)
Cup sealer (we can seal a couple of sizes)
Conditioning:
Environmental chambers are available and charged on a daily rate of $200/day.
Converting:
Blown film line: $2500/day; no half day
Cast film line: $2000/day; half day available
Coater laminator: $3000/day; no half day
Solventless laminator: $2000/day; half day available
