Alumni

Clemson University CAFLS Alumni was formed in 1992 to provide service and a campus connection for our many alumni.

The purpose of this organization is to:

  1. Promote the best interests and welfare of Clemson University and the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences;

  2. Fully acquaint the membership of the organization with the progress and needs of Clemson University;

  3. Assist in communicating the University and the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences accomplishments and services to the people of South Carolina and the nation;

  4. Serve as an advocate for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences within and outside of the University;

  5. Encourage loyalty to the University and the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences and closer bonds of fellowship among its Alumni and friends by participating in, and providing, educational and charitable service to students, faculty, staff and members; to encourage youth to pursue careers in the agriculture and related industries; and

  6. Serve as a source of recruitment referral.

Even before it reaches your mailbox, the current issue of CU Forestry Alumni Association newsletter is online! President Randal Johnson welcomes suggestions and contributions to the newsletter. The Executive Secretary of CU Forestry Alumni Association is Vic Shelburne.

The alumni newsletter is in a pdf file format, requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing and/or printing. If you do not have Acrobat Reader already installed on your computer, it can be downloaded from Adobe free of charge. Then, simply click on the newsletter's hyperlink and Acrobat Reader launches and loads the newsletter automatically within Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
