2015 - 2016 Season Results 

January 20th, 2016 - Hunt Seat Show at Lander University

Following a two-month break, the Clemson University Hunt Seat Equestrian Team rode in their first show of the spring semester on January 30, 2016.  The show was hosted by the Lander University Equestrian Team and held at Lander University’s Equestrian Center.  The team, led by coach Jamie Grant Rowland, won the Reserve Champion title.  The Clemson University Equestrian Team has been in the top three at each of the 5 shows thus far this season, making Clemson University the most consistent of all schools. Clemson University moved up to second in the chase for the high point team, making this the strongest year we’ve had in recent history. Team members brought home 12 individual ribbons at the Lander University show, including a class winner, strong 2nd place finishes with two riders debuting in their divisions and a 2nd for a more seasoned rider. Clemson University Equestrian Team now has six riders qualified for post season and two more primed to earn the same honor.  They continue their season next weekend at Georgia Southern University, before returning to a home team show on Feb. 20th and the final regular season show at College of Charleston in March.

November 22nd, 2015 - Western Show at Lander University

The Clemson University Western Equestrian Team rode in a double header on November 22, 2015 hosted by the Lander University Equestrian Team at the Lander University Equestrian Center.  The team, led by coach Rebecca Shirley, won the Champion Team honors at both shows, strengthening Clemson University’s lead in the high point team race.  Alyssa Priester was named High Point rider, and Olivia Gibney was Reserve High Point rider.  Team members brought home 38 individual ribbons over the two shows, with results highlighted below.

November 14th, 2015 - Hunt Seat Show at College of Charleston

The Clemson University Hunt Seat Equestrian Team rode in their final show of the Fall 2015 semester on November 14, 2015 hosted by the College of Charleston Equestrian Team at Storybook Farm.  The team, led by coach Jamie Grant Rowland, won the Reserve Champion title, and Intermediate rider, Hannah Stephens, was named High Point Rider.  Clemson University remains a top contender in the High Point Team race. Clemson University Equestrian Team now has five riders qualified for post season at the halfway point of the season.  Team members brought home 16 individual ribbons at the CoC show, with results highlighted below.

October 25th, 2015 - Western Show at Clemson University

The Clemson University Western Equestrian Team rode in a double header on October 25 hosted by the Clemson University Equestrian Team at the Clemson University Equine Center.  The team, led by coach Rebecca Shirley, won the Champion Team honors at both shows, putting Clemson University in a strong lead for the high point team race.  Team members brought home 35 individual ribbons over the two shows, with results highlighted below.

October 17th & 18th, 2015 - Hunt Seat Show at University of South Carolina

The Clemson University Hunt Seat Equestrian Team rode in a double header on October 17-18 hosted by the University of South Carolina IHSA Equestrian Team at Three Fox Farm in Blythewood.  The team, led by coach Jamie Rowland, won the Champion honors on Saturday and was the third high team on Sunday.  In a close race for high point teams, Clemson University is remaining among the top teams.  Julia Schaumann won High Point rider on Saturday, by winning both Intermediate On the Flat and Over Fences.  Caroline McDaniel also continues to be a strong contender in the Caccione Cup Open Rider competition. Team members brought home 30 individual ribbons over the two days, with results highlighted below.

September 26th, 2015 - Hunt Seat Show in at Georgia Southern University

The Clemson University Hunt Seat Equestrian Team rode in their season opener for IHSA Zone 5 Region 3 on September 26, 2015 hosted by the Georgia Southern University Equestrian Team at Evermore Farm.  The team, led by coach Jamie Grant Rowland, was the third high team narrowly missing the reserve title.  In a close race for high point teams, Clemson University is among the top teams once again.  Caroline McDaniel also had a strong start in the Caccione Cup Open Rider competition. Team members brought home 18 individual ribbons, with results highlighted below.
