 Profile

I began my career with the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service in 2007 as an Area Forestry and Natural Resources Agent and have since taken on Administrative duties also. I am responsible for helping landowners in Abbeville, Greenwood, Laurens, and McCormick Counties with their forestry, wildlife, and other natural resources needs. A Licensed and Registered Forester my area of emphasis is the manipulation and coordination of the basic mechanisms of the forest to meet the goals of the landowner and to provide sustainably managed forest and natural resource products for society’s needs. I work closely with the Forestry and Forest Landowner Associations in my area. In addition, I assist with area 4-H programs and other youth programs with their natural resources activities. I am a Steering Committee Member for the State 4-H Forestry Program and the Clemson Representative on the SC Tree Farm Program State Committee I am a member in good standing with the following organizations: Society of American Foresters, South Carolina Forestry Association, Association of Natural Resource Extension Professionals, South Carolina Association of County Agricultural Agents.
