Prospective Graduate Students

Admissions

  • Apply here:  Clemson Graduate Admissions

    • Create an account, complete your application, and submit.
    • The application fee is $80 for domestic, $90 for international, and $60 for non-degree applicants.
  • Register for the GRE, if you have not already done so. We require a minimum score of 900 total. The Information and Registration Bulletin may also be obtained by contacting your institution or ETS (P.O. Box 6000, Princeton, New Jersey 08541-6000 USA). GRE scores must be sent directly from Educational Testing Service and scores must not be older than five years relative to the date of acceptance.

  • If you have already taken the appropriate test(s), request that the Educational Testing Service forward official copies of your score(s) to Clemson University (institution code, 5111).

  • A writing sample is required in addition to the personal statement on the application form. This should not be included with the materials in the application envelope or with supporting documents. The application packet or package of supporting documents should only include the materials requested. You writing sample should answer the following questions: What have you done professionally?, What is the main reason for needing a Masters of AgEd?, and how can the masters help you achieve your goals?.   • Make copies of your application and other forms for your files in case any questions arise or in case materials are lost in the mail.

  • Enclose the Support Materials Coversheet with all support materials and mail ONE envelope to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Please do not mail your support materials until you have first submitted the online application for admission.

Admission Tips:

  • A copy of your unofficial transcripts from each institution of attendance should be attached to and submitted with the online application for admission. Official transcripts are only required of those applicants who are offered admission. This means you should not send your official transcripts at this time. You will be asked for the official transcripts if you are admitted.

    • Upon your admissions, request one (1) official transcript from all previously attended colleges and/or universities. Please request that the registrar's office at each institution provide official transcripts of your academic work in sealed envelope(s) with official signature over seal. Refer to Transcript Request Form – GSTR.

  • If you are currently or have previously been a student at Clemson then you will have a CUID number, which you will be asked to provide. If you are unsure of your number, please leave it blank.

    International applicants to Clemson graduate programs who are non-residents of the US are assigned an NR number. If you already have an NR number, please have it available when you complete the online application, so that you can enter it in the appropriate place. If you do not already have an NR number, you will be provided one when you complete the online application. PLEASE SAVE THIS NUMBER.  YOU WILL NEED IT TO INQUIRE ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION.
