NetworkBASH

NetworkBash is an opportunity for students to interact with Industry Professionals in order to learn how to sell themselves beyond a resume and give them a unique and critical advantage over fellow peers. Instead of just relying on a resume to get a job, we are going to bring in professional employers to help teach students how to craft a "Pitch", a "Pitch" that employers want to hear. This is where many students fail to impress people at Career Fairs and Job Interviews.
At NetworkBash you will work 1-on-1 with Employers to develop your "Pitch", then practice your "Pitch" in a real life simulation, and in the end we will record your pitch in front of a camera for you to keep. We will also hold seminars on new social media programs that employers are using to research prospective employers such as Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, and LinkedIn. These seminars will be led by employers/professionals who use these tools everyday. These people will teach you how to develop your profiles into what employers want to see to obtain a job. In the end we will hold an open Panel Discussion and finally an After Party Bash.
NetworkBash is a new concept only put on only at Clemson.
