UV/Pigment Based ink is recommended for long-term indoor and outdoor use. This ink will not fade for many, many years, and items printed with UV ink can be exposed to direct sunlight. When used on vinyl or Tyvek substrates, UV is water-resistant.
Glossy Photo Paper: High gloss photobase paper that is the perfect choice for high quality photo finish images. The high gloss surface provides for optimum viewing in any lighting environment. Glossy Photo Paper is recommended for indoor use only and is not water resistant.
9mil Tyvek Banner: Banner grade material made of Tyvek® with a matte finish. Intended for long-term indoor and outdoor banner applications where tear resistance is required. When printed with UV ink, Tyvek Banner material is water-resistant. Damage can occur from excessive folding or creasing.
5mil Adhesive Backed Vinyl: A white opaque, matte, calendared vinyl with a permanent pressure sensitive adhesive. Excellent for flexible, durable signs and banners. Recommended for indoor and outdoor use. When printed with UV ink, Adhesive Backed Vinyl material is water-resistant. Damage can occur from excessive folding or creasing.
15mil Scrim Vinyl: The premium promotional banner material for indoor or outdoor applications. It has two PVC layers and a polyester scrim layer, which add to its sun-blocking power, durability and ability to drape well. This material has a matte finish. When printed with UV ink, Scrim Vinyl material is water-resistant. This material is very resistant to damage, but damage can occur from excessive folding or creasing.
17mil Artist Stretch Canvas: A matte finish, pH neutral artist stretch canvas designed for fine art or photo reproductions. The polyester/cotton blend canvas has a specifically designed coating which delivers superior color gamut and resolution. When printed with UV ink, Artists Stretch Canvas material is water-resistant. This material is very resistant to damage, but damage can occur from excessive folding or creasing. (Note: This material should be permanently attached to a rigid board or frame with staples or tacks. Using glue or pressure sensitive adhesives is not recommended, as this does not prevent the material from natural environmental shrinkage over time. When the material shrinks, the adhesive may fail, causing edges to curl and possible delamination. All edges of the material should be affixed to the mounting surface to prevent the edges from curling.)
