OWS offers several levels of support to campus Web content managers as part of its mission to give visitors to Clemson University Web sites an accurate and positive representation of students, alumni, faculty and staff.
For all Clemson University sites, OWS agrees to:
The Office of Web Services (OWS) offers three ways to brand your site and bring it into the University's Web content management system, Cascade Server. In addition to the above responsibilities, OWS also commits to the following levels of support based on these packages.
OPTION 1OWS works with the client to organize Web site content and structure. OWS will build and maintain the client's site in this option, making updates — in predetermined timeframes — when the client requests. |
OPTION 2Client can request to work with OWS to organize their site's content structure. The client will then build and maintain the site. OWS will provide support with Cascade "how-to" issues, but not in-depth support for web development "how-tos." |
OPTION 3OWS works with the client and client's RUO to organize content and structure. OWS will then build the site and turn it over to the client's RUO, who will maintain and support the client's Web site. |

Note: OWS is not responsible for troubleshooting issues that arise from unapproved editing of OWS-provided assets, providing individual Cascade training at the contributor level after the appropriate managers have been trained, or developing and/or supporting special projects within Cascade unless approved by OWS.
