1.    Update on Brand Presentation by Dave Dryden: The new Academic mark was approved by the Board of Trustees on Friday, April 17. A detailed visual style guide, tool box and necessary resources are being developed to ensure the brand is accurately communicated by all University areas. This will impact all forms of communication as we integrate a consistent style of writing, type of photography, typography and use of color. As Web standards are determined based on the visual style guide, drafts will be shared for your feedback and assistance in working out the details.

2.    Presentation by Tenneil Moody on how to send mass e-mails and solicitation for colleges and departments. Information on the services available through the development office in this time of decreasing resources. This resource is free to departments to use for solicitations. Development covers the costs of the license. Tenneil is able to create lists from the RazorEdge database or use provided spreadsheets of addresses for emails. Application provides tracking statistics and dollars raised. Departments are able to work with Tenneil to create a custom list of funds. The database does not have current students, staff and faculty in it. The primary use of this application is for solicitations, however, the President’s Report and some special prospective student e-blasts have been sent.
