Alternative Transportation

With tens of thousands of visitors coming to Clemson University, 4,500 employees and over 19,000 students, Parking and Transportation Services strongly encourages its students, faculty and staff who commute to campus to explore alternative transportation options. As part of the University’s commitment to support a more sustainable campus by reducing carbon emissions, Parking and Transportation Services is seeking to minimize the number of vehicles on campus, reduce congestion and alleviate the daily demand for parking on campus. In order to accomplish this, Parking and Transportation Services offers alternative transportation options and is working to create additional innovative alternative transportation programs to save on fuel and parking fees while helping to contribute to its mission of creating a more sustainable campus.
