Parking and Transportation Services, in conjunction with WeCar by Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, is excited to now offer the first WeCar program on a South Carolina University campus. This initiative is a unique membership-based, car-sharing program for people who are looking for an alternative method of transportation that lowers the cost and reduces the hassles of traditional automobile transportation. It provides Clemson students, faculty and staff with the convenience of a cost effective, responsible and eco-friendly way to get around - whether to run errands, travel to meetings or to take a road trip. The vehicles selected for this car-sharing program also support sustainability in that they include hybrids and low emission vehicles including the first electric automobile made available for transportation use on campus.

From the Office of Procurement Services: The new WeCar program is for faculty and staff to use on a personal basis only. WeCar registration and rental fees may not be paid for by a university p-card and WeCar use cannot be claimed as an employee travel expense.
