What is the TigerOne Card?

The TigerOne Card is a vital part of every day campus life. Students should remember to carry their TigerOne Card with them at all times. Many departments use the TigerOne Card as a means to grant access to their information and services. From the libraries using the TigerOne Card to allow you to check out library books, to a teacher requiring to see your student's TigerOne Card to take a test, to CCIT requiring it to allow your student to purchase discounted software.

The TigerOne Card is not just a card, it is so much more! Below are features of your TigerOne Card:

  • Official Clemson University ID card
  • Personal declining balance card to access pre-deposited funds in a TigerStripe account
  • Meal plan access
  • Library access
  • Residence Hall access
  • Fike Recreation Center access
  • Olympic Athletic events access
  • Athletic Ticket Privilege (Football and Basketball)

TigerStripe Account Information

The TigerOne Card becomes your personal debit card or declining-balance card when you open a TigerStripe Account. An account can be opened by depositing funds to the TigerOne card by:

  • Making a deposit at our Online Card Office: http://t1online.clemson.edu
  • Calling our office and making a deposit over the phone at 864-656-0763
  • Visiting our office at 111 Hendrix Student Center Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p.

To make a purchase, simply present the TigerOne Card wherever the TigerOne Card is accepted and the purchase amount will be deducted from your account. The account balance is provided after each transaction by receipt or at the online card office. There are no monthly fees or interest charges like a checking or credit card account; and your funds roll over from semester to semester until your student graduates, withdraws, or transfers from the university.

  1. The Account is a record of pre-deposited funds accessed by the Cardholder for the purchase of products and services. There is no daily limit on the number of purchases that may be made and debited; however, no debits or charges shall exceed the amount of deposited funds.
  2. The Cardholder understands and agrees that the Account cannot be used as a credit card or to obtain cash advances.
  3. The Cardholder understands and agrees that the Account is non-transferable.

Disputes About Purchases

Purchases using your TigerOne Card are like cash and, as such, cannot be disputed in the same manner as credit or charge card transactions. If you have a question about a particular transaction, we will provide you with any information we may have regarding the matter. Any disputes about the nature or quality of goods or services purchased with the card need to be resolved by you with the sales location involved.
