Unity Project: Saturday, April 6, 11 a.m.2 p.m., Carillion Gardens

Open to all Clemson students, the Unity Project is a student initiative designed to unite different organizations and individuals across campus through various service projects. Everyone who registers is split up based on preferences and placed in groups where they will have a chance to meet someone new while working together for a good cause. Students will be working at local non-profit agencies to participate in projects that benefit underprivileged children, neglected animals, and the elderly. Students will also work engage in beautification projects for the City of Clemson and the Botanical Gardens. The Unity Project is a reflection of Clemson University’s drive to inspire students to reach out and lend a helping hand, even if it is only for a few hours once a year. Organizers want students to have fun, meet new people, leave with a feeling of accomplishment, and remember that next year they can do it all over again. Contact Harleigh Warner or Elizabeth Jones for more information.
