Room Reservations

The Graduate Student Center provides program and meeting space for graduate student groups of all kinds. We have the perfect space for you, whether it be you alone, a study group, or a graduate student organization.

Room Reservation Policy

Room Reservation Requirements

Only Clemson graduate and professional students or University offices offering programs specifically for graduate and professional students can reserve a room. We will not accept reservation requests outside these guidelines.

As long as space is not reserved, you can use and share the space with other graduate students. If you want to ensure the space is reserved for your group, you will need to complete a reservation form.

You may not reserve a space for more than a 2-hour time period.

Room Access

Graduate Student Center staff will open reserved rooms when the event sponsor arrives, up to 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the event. Each reservation includes a 15-minute pre-event set-up time and a 15-minute post-event clean-up time.

Responsibility

Event sponsors are responsible for the behavior of event attendees. Damages to property and equipment caused by event attendees will be the responsibility of the event sponsors.

Food and Beverages

Light refreshments and foods such as sandwiches, pizza, Chick-Fil-A, etc. are permissible if they are self-catered or provided. You must specify that you intend to have food at the event when you place your reservation request. Charges will apply if excessive clean-up is necessary. No alcohol is permitted.

Cancellations/Reservation Changes

Please report any changes or cancellations to your reservation at least 24 hours prior to your event by emailing gsc@clemson.edu or calling (864)-656-2697.

Missed Meeting Policy

Event sponsors who fail to show up for their event in a reserved space three times may lose access privileges in the Graduate Student Center.

Reserve a Room

To reserve a room, you will need to fill out a reservation form or call the Graduate Student Center staff at (864)-656-2697.

By reserving a room, you agree that:

1. You are aware and agree to the Room Reservation Policies (found under the Room Reservations tab).

2. You will assume responsibility and ensure others in your group follow these policies.
