Residential Life Graduate Assistantships

Residential Life offers seven different types of Graduate Assistantships at Clemson University.  For the 2012-2013 academic year, we have openings for four of these seven Graduate Assistantships. Residential Life Graduate Assistantships are positions with preference given to students who enroll in the Master of Education Student Affairs program.

Resident Assistants

The Resident Assistant (RA) lives and works with a group of 30 to 60 students in a residence hall community. This position involves personal advising; management of a floor/area of undergraduate students; administrative duties including community desk duty and room inventory. The position calls for a person with a degree of maturity, flexibility and effective communication skills for confronting inappropriate behaviors or infractions and conducting programming.

Desk Assistants

Summer Student Employment

University Housing's Office of Summer Programs offers several different employment opportunities during the summer months.
