Your FYE Experience
Making Clemson your home is an exciting part of your first-year experience. Clemson’s Department of Residential Life is committed to assisting you in this transition. We have developed a comprehensive program for all first-year students who live on campus. From locating your classes to getting along with your roommate, our First Year Experience (FYE) program is here…for you!
FYE has four primary components: Civic Engagement, Academic Achievement, Community Development and Interpersonal Development. We work with our campus partners to promote the resources, services and opportunities available to you. When you take advantage of these benefits, they have a very positive impact on your first year experience.
We encourage you to participate in any or all of our FYE events. Look for our logo when you move into your residence hall, and let us assist you in making Clemson University Housing your home.
