University Housing

General Info

Sustainability has to do with the balance of environmental, social, and economic needs within the world community.  However, a sustainable life-style must start with individual and local practices.  Clemson University is committed to becoming more sustainable and by the leadership of President Barker; it has begun a journey to becoming net-zero emissions by the year 2030.  To reach that goal we must begin now.  As leaders within our Clemson community, you are expected to promote electricity and water conservation and recycling on campus.

If you have questions or comments regarding sustainability, please e-mail Gary Gaulin at Camden@clemson.edu or phone him at 864-656-5445.

Clemson students made the video below to tell where your electricity comes from and how you can conserve it.
